assignment 4

1. Discuss what the main idea of the video is?  The main idea is to let people know that generations are changing but we can't forget our values if we want to get far in life.

2. Do you see yourself as past oriented or future oriented? Why? I see myself as future oriented. You can't focus on the future if you are still living in the past. I think I am future oriented because I focus more on the future. I believe that what you do good or bad will affect you in the future.

3. Do you agree or disagree with the speaker in the video? Explain why?  I agree. People are changing everyday. Generations are getting lazier with technology. We have to take advantage of technology in the good way not the bad.

4. Do you agree with the speaker's view that young adults' minds are being "digitally rewired"? Explain your answer. Yes. Kids today spend way too much time playing videogames and overusing technology. By "digitally rewired" the speaker means that kids are getting  used to getting everything the easy way because of the technology, making them lazy.

5. Why does the narrator in the video argue that young people dislike a single-function device such as a wristwatch?
Young people are used to using multi-function devices. This makes them dislike a device with only one function.

1. Why did Sir Tim Berner's Lee decide to make the World Wide Web free when he created it at CERN? He wanted it to be a space for everyone. He did not want us to pay to get into the world wide web so we could use it whenever we like.

2. What are the benefits of having "web addresses," an idea that Sir Tim Berner's Lee created? The benefits are that you can search for anything on the web.

3. How does the World Wide Web allow people from all over the world to communicate? It connects everyone through the web.
